Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driving Patrol in Galveston, TX. You will provide security and customer service across Retail/Malls, conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

As a Driving Patrol at a retail location, you will respond to security concerns, complete reports, and coordinate with team members while adhering to site procedures. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Competenze

As a Driving Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
