• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports and patrol logs per Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Exterior Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
