Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver Route Support) in Houston, TX. You will patrol a retail location, deter incidents, and provide customer service while maintaining a strong, professional presence.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns, and report observations to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
