What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Maintain authorized armed post equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
