Responsibilities

• Monitor for policy violations and loss prevention concerns and escalate as needed.
• Assist with access control and directions in a busy retail environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for potential policy violations, loss prevention concerns, unauthorized access, and other security-related issues, and report observations through established procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with access control, directions, and other site-specific duties in a busy retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
