Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Houston, TX. You’ll protect clients across a range of industries, performing site-specific security procedures and responding to incidents while providing courteous customer service.

The role offers flexible Day/Evening shifts and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling retail areas, reporting suspicious activity, and maintaining detailed shift records.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner following site protocols.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or policy violations to deter theft and other issues.
• Maintain detailed activity reports and shift records per site requirements.

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

• Maintain detailed and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
