Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Cumberland, RI. You will monitor healthcare facility communications, coordinate incident responses, and maintain dispatch logs to support patients, visitors, and staff.

Role requires at least 2 years of security experience; CPR preferred, strong computer skills, and a customer‑service mindset. Full‑time, union opportunities, and a schedule including evenings/weekends are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

• Maintain clear, accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation while communicating updates to supervisors, responders, and authorized healthcare personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, helping to support timely coordination of resources.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
