Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Position in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a hotel or resort location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarms and incoming calls, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. You will support a welcoming environment for guests and staff through clear communication, responsive service, and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Monitor communications systems, receive calls and requests for assistance, and dispatch appropriate personnel to guest-service needs, maintenance concerns, medical situations, and other security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, key-control documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to supervisors, emergency responders, and/or appropriate site personnel as needed.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
