Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Dispatch Communications Security Officer in Eden Prairie, MN. You will coordinate security responses, monitor alarms, and communicate with staff, visitors, and responders to maintain a secure, welcoming environment at a healthcare location.

Responsibilities include managing dispatch logs, prioritizing requests, and supervising routine calls while patrolling the perimeter and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to healthcare location personnel, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor dispatch communications, prioritize service requests, and coordinate security personnel responses.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident details, communications records, and status updates per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalations, coordinating with contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, reporting hazards, access issues, and unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to healthcare location personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize service requests, and coordinate the response of security-related personnel to incidents and routine calls.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident details, communications records, and status updates in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed hazards, access concerns, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
