Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Dispatch in Eden Prairie, MN. You will coordinate emergency responses, monitor alarm and access-control activity, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff within healthcare locations and other facilities.

This role offers a flexible schedule with daytime and evening shifts, a pay rate of $22.95 per hour, and opportunities to grow your career through training and our Shift-Claim platform.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch security-related calls, requests, and incident information to appropriate personnel in a healthcare location.
• Monitor communication systems, access control alerts, and other assigned systems; maintain accurate activity logs and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to site leadership and emergency services as directed.
• Coordinate regular and random patrol assignments around the business and perimeter, and communicate relevant conditions or concerns to assigned personnel.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
