Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by employer.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel per site procedures.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident records, and related documentation; communicate updates to supervisors and responders.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and service requests, dispatching appropriate personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and related documentation; communicate timely updates to supervisors and responding personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
