Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Eden Prairie, MN to safeguard clients across healthcare facilities and other settings. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with facility policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through accurate reports and communication to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with healthcare facility policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
