Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Services in Eden Prairie, MN. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and deter incidents at a healthcare location.

This full-time role requires strong communication, adherence to site policies, and reporting incidents, with a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $35.80 per hour and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation according to laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility areas and surrounding grounds.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site policies to maintain an orderly environment for patient care.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate details to supervision and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patient care operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
