Allied Universal® in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator to support a financial institution. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarms, dispatch personnel, and help direct responses to security incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regs.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and access-control; dispatch staff as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly, document activity, and escalate notifications.
• Maintain dispatch logs and incident records for the financial institution site.
• Coordinate routine and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and access-control notifications; dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and escalating notifications as required.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications for a financial institution location.
• Coordinate routine and random patrol assignments around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
