Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Dispatch in San Jose, CA. You will coordinate security communications, monitor systems, and direct responses while delivering strong customer service. Ideal candidates have 1+ year security experience, comfort with computers, and a Guard Card. Background checks and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and/or dispatch channels; document requests and route information to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant details to on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, access-related records, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
• Support regular and random patrol activities by dispatching personnel, tracking check-ins, and reporting observed concerns around the business and perimeter.

What You'll Do:
