Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a SOC Operator - Dispatch Center Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves coordinating security-related communications, monitoring access control and alarm activity, documenting incidents, and dispatching personnel to maintain a safe environment for tenants and employees.

The position is Full Time with a pay rate of $25.40 per hour. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with responsibility for providing professional customer service

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and records of personnel, visitor, contractor, and vendor communications as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
