Allied Universal is seeking an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a welcoming, secure environment.

With at least 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma, you will conduct patrols, complete reports, and respond to incidents using site procedures and available technology.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed) and have a high school diploma.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and guests while enforcing site access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify authorization for residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and communicate with site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of community grounds and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete activity and incident reports and enforce community access rules.

Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Enforce community access rules professionally and courteously, provide directions and assistance as needed, and complete required activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
