Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Austin, TX. This full-time role coordinates communications, monitors alarms and cameras, and supports access control while providing high-quality customer service on a technology-focused site.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to operate dispatch tools. Compensation is $25 per hour with a schedule including afternoon/evening shifts, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor communication channels, alarms, cameras, and access-control notifications; receive calls and dispatch appropriate personnel for routine requests, incidents, and critical situations.
• Maintain clear, accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and communications with site leadership and responding teams.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established security-related protocols.
• Coordinate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support timely communication, access, and incident response.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
