As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Services Desk in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in an education location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will manage access, greet guests, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and/or access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communications systems from a stationary front desk post, reporting unusual activity and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Support a welcoming educational environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and communicating professionally with students, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
