Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Guest Registration in Wilmington, DE. You will welcome residents and visitors, manage access, and provide excellent customer service while monitoring front desk activities and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities include credential verification, monitoring cameras, and supporting residents with directions and information. A background check and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will welcome residents and visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional presence, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and team members. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and security‑related responsibilities at the front desk.
• Monitor visitor access, greet and direct guests, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor and package records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor front‑desk communications, cameras, and building entry points, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security‑related issues according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence at the residential location while supporting residents and visitors with information, directions, and appropriate assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
