Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception in Philadelphia, PA. You will greet visitors, verify access, monitor activity, and respond to security concerns to create a welcoming environment.

As a Front Desk Security Professional in an education location, you will maintain logs, follow procedures, and provide exceptional service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of an education-focused location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors; verify access credentials; and direct guests according to established visitor-management procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or communications equipment, reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as applicable.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a welcoming and professional front-desk environment.
