Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Philadelphia, PA. You will patrol campus buildings and deter incidents while providing excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and campus community while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways and perimeter areas to identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and according to campus procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in required reports and electronic systems.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries and directions for the educational location.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity, you will help promote a welcoming environment while responding professionally to campus needs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports, logs, and electronic systems.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, directions, and other security-related support services for the educational location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
