Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Visitor Assistance in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, patrols, and communications accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
