Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings and grounds to identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports per site procedures.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
