Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Checkpoint Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. This part-time role involves screening people, packages, and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns to maintain a safe environment for clients across multiple industries.

You will provide courteous customer service, deter incidents with a visible presence, and follow established procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsabilités

As a Security Officer X Ray Checkpoint Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service while helping to deter incidents through a visible presence and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen packages, shipments, and items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable regulations.
• Monitor screening equipment and report suspicious items, prohibited materials, irregularities, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned operational areas, access points, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
