Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Screening Agent in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard clients across logistics sites. You will use X-ray screening equipment to inspect shipments, maintain a visible security presence, and enforce access-control procedures.

This full-time role offers a 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM schedule on weekends and weekdays, with pay at $17.22 per hour. Candidates must have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and pass background and drug

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, candidates will undergo a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, parcels, and belongings in accordance with established procedures; document and report prohibited or suspicious items and activity.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and restricted areas; verify identification and maintain accurate visitor and screening records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
