Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to observe and report activities at a client site, ensuring the security of personnel and property. The role requires standing for long periods and attentiveness to safety protocols.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 1600-0000 with potential weekend work. Candidates must have a valid NYS Security Guard License, be at least 18, and demonstrate excellent customer service and de-escalation skills. Reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure security and safety of personnel and property.
• Perform regular patrols to check for irregularities and enforce site regulations.
• Record observations and incidents; complete reports and assist with investigations as needed.
• Installations or adjustments to security measures as directed by supervisor.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 1600-0000

Pay Range

Up to USD $30.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
