Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Grass Valley, CA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service to employees and visitors while deterring security incidents.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $22.50 per hour with a daytime schedule. You will join a team committed to safety, integrity, and community service at Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
