Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed CPR patrol in Berkeley, MO. The role involves patrolling interior/exterior areas, monitoring access points, and providing excellent customer service to a financial services site.

Pay rate is $21.50 per hour with a shift schedule spanning days and overnights. Applicants must meet minimum security experience and licensing expectations and pass background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
