Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Facility Patrol in Berkeley, MO. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients across financial institutions and other environments, conducting regular patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen per law where applicable.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter wrongdoing.
• Monitor access points and document suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and patrol records per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a secure environment while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
