Competenze

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per law.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Welfare Support in San Mateo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and report unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
