Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Field Reporting in Newark, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity or access concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately through required reports and communication systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
