Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Coral Springs, FL. This part‑time position involves patrolling government healthcare facilities, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding to emergencies with calm, professional problem‑solving.

You will support daily operations, report incidents clearly, and help ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and facility access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of security-related experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
