Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Medical Center Driver Security Guard in Jupiter, FL for a part-time, on-site role. You will perform armed patrols, manage access, and respond to emergencies in a healthcare environment while delivering professional customer service to patients and staff.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, CPO certification, and prior security or law enforcement experience. Excellent communication, reliability, and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military experience or a degree in criminal justice.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vehicle, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and degree in criminal justice.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
