Allied Universal in Miramar, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol to safeguard patients, staff and visitors across healthcare facilities. You will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter incidents, perform routine checks, and provide courteous customer service daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and address medical emergencies, disturbances, and access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document incidents and communicate information to supervisors and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
