Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Armed Field Patrol Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL. You will protect clients across healthcare and other sectors, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professionalism and customer service.

As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, follow site policies, and communicate clearly with staff and leadership while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, reliability, and teamwork. Flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws and site policies.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and report to site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
