You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, while delivering professional customer service and maintaining safety across the site.

Qualificações

As an Armed Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a correctional environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of movement throughout assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable post orders.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
