As a Security Officer Armed Roving Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a correctional facility environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, perimeters, access points, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
