Allied Universal in Clinton, NC is seeking a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Driver to safeguard government facilities and support patrol operations. You will conduct routine armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

This full-time driving role requires a valid driver’s license and armed credentials, with 21+ years age requirement. Pay is $21.50/hour, with a consistent Mon/Tue/Sun schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of authorized movement throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service.
