As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a controlled environment. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns. A valid driver’s license is required. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out armed security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeters, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of inmate movement, visitor activity, and facility operations in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and/or security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
