Job summary

Allied Universal in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol to monitor manufacturing and industrial sites and deter security incidents. This unarmed role focuses on customer service, visible presence, and reporting incidents with professionalism and teamwork.

You will patrol interior, exterior, and perimeter areas, control access points, and respond calmly to emergencies while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergencies.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior, exterior, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, and delivery areas as required.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents and activities in reports and logs.
