Job summary

Allied Universal in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting to protect client sites across Manufacturing and Industrial environments. You will monitor areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents using available computer or tablet tools and alarm panels.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, reliable communication, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic computer or tablet proficiency for daily operations.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred to monitor and respond to incidents.
• Customer service experience is preferred to support client interactions.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies during shifts.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and access concerns with calm, solution-focused actions.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters.
• Monitor entry points and verify visitor/employee access per site requirements.
• Document patrols and incidents, and communicate findings to management.
