Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, solution-oriented manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with enforcement of site policies related to access control, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas.

As a Security Guard Customer Service Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with enforcement of site policies related to access control, vehicle traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
