As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by conducting X-ray screening, monitoring access points, and assisting with badge verification. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, use computer or tablet systems, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, packages, and property in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited items or irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate records of screening activities and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
