Job summary

Allied Universal is actively seeking a security professional to support on-site access-control at a chemical/petrochemical site in Texas. You will engage with personnel, visitors, and contractors to enforce site procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, issuing access documentation, patrolling areas, and documenting observations. Training and growth opportunities are available within this nationwide security company.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Control access for deliveries, vehicles, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted operational areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, perimeter areas, and access-control locations, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

What You’ll Do
