Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and routine activity while supporting Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Control access for deliveries, vehicles, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted operational areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, perimeter areas, and access-control locations, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
