Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a guard card/license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility including business areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, manage entry/exit processes.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Pay Rate: $23.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
