Job summary

Four Seasons Lana'i Resort is seeking a Security Officer who safeguards guests, staff, and property at our island resort, focusing on loss prevention and health and safety compliance while serving as a visible deterrent.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, handling inquiries, incident reports, and alarm response. Must have legal US work authorization and a Hawaii driver’s license; position operates seven days a week, 24 hours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Security Officer supports a safe and secure environment through continuous patrol of guest , employee , and public areas. This role focuses on loss prevention, enforcement of security policies, and adherence to health and safety regulations while serving as a visible deterrent to potential incidents and risks. This role will support Four Seasons Resort Lana'i, Sensei Lana'i, and all other Four Seasons Lana'i entities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patrol guest, employee, and public areas on foot and by vehicle to maintain order, deter incidents, and protect property
• Control and authorize access to designated areas for guests and employees, including conducting temperature checks when required
• Answer telephone calls to provide information, respond to inquiries, and relay messages courteously and professionally
• Monitor and authorize the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other personnel to prevent theft and ensure facility security
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting daily activities, security incidents, property damage, theft, unauthorized access, or unusual occurrences
• Enforce rules and policies by warning individuals of violations and apprehending or escorting violators from the premises when necessary
• Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, provide basic first aid and CPR when needed, and contact police, fire, or emergency services to ensure prompt and effective incident response

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required .

• Hawaii Driver's License and Abstract is required for this role . Guard Card, First-Aid, CPR, and AED Certificate also required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
