Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai seeks a dedicated Security Safety Officer to join our team. You will patrol the resort, protect guests and assets, and respond to incidents with sound judgment and care.

You will support guests and colleagues with information and assistance while upholding the highest standards of safety and discretion. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, a Hawaii Guard Card, and current First Aid, CPR, AED certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; security experience preferred.
• Valid State of Hawaii Guard Card.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and welcoming environment by actively patrolling the resort.

What You’ll Do

• Create a safe and welcoming environment by actively patrolling the resort and maintaining a visible, reassuring presence
• Deliver exceptional guest service while monitoring and managing access to ensure the security of our property
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with sound judgment and care
• Support our guests and team members by providing assistance, answering questions, and offering clear, helpful information
• Document daily activities and any incidents with accuracy and attention to detail
• Uphold resort policies and standards with respect, professionalism, and discretion
• Provide basic first aid and emergency response when needed
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless and safe guest experience

What To Bring

• A passion for service and a genuine care for people
• High school diploma or equivalent, with prior security experience preferred
• Valid State of Hawaii Guard Card
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
• Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and composed in all situations
• Sound judgment, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the resort for extended periods
