Ascension is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors at Elk Grove Village, IL. This role covers night shifts on a part-time schedule, including patrols, incident response and enforcement of safety policies within a healthcare setting.

You will participate in drills, document incidents, and mentor staff on safety procedures to enhance campus-wide preparedness and awareness.

Qualifications

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire; any state DL accepted.
• BLS Provider certification (AHA or ARC preferred).
• Security Guard credential from Illinois preferred.
• PERC card preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Any State DL is accepted.
• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.
• Security Guard credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred
• Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) card preferred

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
